Welcome! Our platform connects generous individuals with members of the visually impaired community who need assistive technology. Here’s a simple guide for both Givers and Receivers.
For Our Givers
Your generosity changes lives. Follow these simple steps to gift a device:
- Create a Store Account: You'll need a free store account to checkout. If you don't have one, register here.
- Find a Request: Visit our "Gift a Device" page to see a list of all approved technology requests from community members.
- Add to Cart & Checkout: Choose a request that resonates with you, add the item to your cart, and proceed to checkout just like a normal purchase.
- We Handle the Rest: Once your gift is purchased, our team arranges the secure delivery of their new device. You've made a direct impact!
For Our Receivers
We're here to help you get the technology you need. This is a multi-step process:
- Create a Store Account: First, you must have a standard store account with us.
- Create a Receiver Account: Next, go to the Gift-Me Login Page and sign up for a separate Receiver account.
- Log In & Request: Log in on that same page. You can then select one item, explain why you need it, and submit your request for approval.
- Await a Giver: Once approved, your request will appear anonymously on our "Gift a Device" page for a generous Giver to fulfill!
